Illustrator CS4 – Using Live Trace and the Blob Brush to Make a Silhouette

An easier way using CS4 to make a silhouette from a photograph. New to Illustrator CS4 is the blob brush, which will paint areas of an image that you want to fill in. Not only will it paint various parts but it will fill them in. Using the blob tool can save time because in the past in order to combine or fill in several shapes into one shape, the shapes would have needed to be combined using the path finder.

This is very useful video. I always want to make a Silhouette but I don’t know how. Can you make a written tutorial as well, I think not all people love to watch, some of them love to read
